Band of Survivors Team Update 4

Today our task was to take care of the holiness meeting for the Waukegan Corps. We had an awesome time of worship and a message from Eric. The message dealt with fig trees and bearing fruits with a little grace mixed in.

After the meeting we had a pot blessing and fellowshipped with the corps members. There was a plethora of great food provided to us and we were blessed by the fellowship we felt from the people there.

As Jon mentioned, our camping days are over! I don’t mind a tent, but I don’t mind a bed either. We were given a tour by Major Gail Aho and saw some cool pieces of army history. The old lecture hall (turned classroom) was very cool.

After the tour we had a barbeque put on by the Aho’s and played some dodgeball after our cell groups. Good times had by all.
