Band of Survivors Team Update 3

Our time of camping out of doors is coming soon to a close. We’re truly not suffering much heartbreak. I think the whole team is looking forward to the CFOT tomorrow and is thankful for the opportunity to stay there.

Today we hosted a big block party with the Waukegan Corps. The turn out was really good (133!) and all the kids and families had a lot of fun. We had tons of great games, face painting, prize drawings, piñatas, and a lot more. We even had a Bible memorization booth.

God truly blessed our efforts and answered the prayers we offered up for that community. I think the future of The Salvation Army in Waukegan, IL is blessed for great things that have so far been only hinted at. Praise God for His continued blessings!
