Band of Survivors Team Update 19

Well, I was almost late to morning worship. What can I say? We had Salvationism 2 today. Eric Himes was talking about the old Salvation Army. But do we need to just remember? Wouldn’t it be great if we followed their steps? It convicted me to actually do something about it.

After some Praise & Worship we Prayed the Bible. We read Revelation chapters 4-5. Then we had some lunch and I called my youth worker Dora to pick us up on Thursday night after the Final B.O.S. Prayer & Praise Night (cause Eric kept complaining). Then I called home to see how life is without me. Then at 5:46pm we left to play Whirlyball. It’s this weird game with bumper cars and this scoop stick. A combo of Basketball, Baseball and Bumper Cars. I got to say I had so much fun. We ate a lot of pizza and watched people get hi. Go yellow team!

Then at 10:00pm we saw Invisible Children. We saw how these kids wake up in the middle of the night and how they walk to a safe place to sleep. I went to bed thinking about them. I need to start a fundraiser. And I need to give my money to them (ouch!). But I’ll do it. If you know me hold me accountable.
