Band of Survivors Team Update 13 - Saturday, July 5


This Saturday we were at the East Chicago corps for the day. When we got to the corps the Paredes’ made us some really yummy tacos for lunch. Today we were able to spend a few hours cleaning two parks that are near the East Chicago corps. But before we did that we had our cell groups after lunch. There was a lot of trash from the fourth of July being the day before, so there were a lot of fireworks all over the place to pick up. I personally wasn’t there (because I was in a prayer shift) but from what I heard there was a lot of trash to pick up. After that we headed back to CFOT for the night, where the band practiced songs for the Sunday meeting. The rest of us who weren’t in the band were able to plan VBS stuff for next week (which will be taking place at the Midwest corps) and we also did some cleaning from dinner. Please pray for our team to be able to have enough energy during the week, specially at during the VBS time. Thank you for your continued prayers.
